HELPING OUR COMMUNITY: 2017 CHARITY GOLF EVENT A HUGE SUCCESS
The 17th annual Renea Parker Charity Golf Event hosted by Benchmark Contracting and Parker, Nelson & Associates, was a huge success this year raising over $21,000 for Rainbow Dreams Academy’s new science laboratory. With 121 participants, incredible donations for the raffle, including an Apple Watch, Beats Solo, Set of Irons, a Ping Driver and Odyssey Putter, Canes Gift Basket, Callaway Range Finder and more, plus the generous support of our hole sponsors, Leavitt Insurance Agency, Helix Electric, Nevada Contract Carpet and Richardson Construction, the event was a resounding success and great fun!
Having funded the Renea Parker Scholarship at Converse College for the past 16 years, we are proud to say that scholarship is now self-funding and will continue to live on. The success of that scholarship fund allows us to now find local noteworthy institutions to support our local community.
Thank you again, to all who participated, and for making this event successful for 17 years!
